Berlin offers housing facilities in the off-campus Student Dorms (Studentenwerk / Student Village). The student dorm Goerzallee is located in the southwest of Berlin in Lichterfelde. The commute to FUBiS-campus takes about 30 minutes. The city center can be reached in about 40 minutes from the student residences. There is a laundry room with token-operated washing machines and dryers available as well. The residences are located within immediate walking distance to grocery markets, a number of restaurants and bakeries, as well as doctor’s offices. Students will stay in individual rooms of approx. 12 sqm within an apartment of up to 6 bedrooms, sharing the bathroom and kitchen (cooker, fridge, cookware, and dishes). Each room is furnished with a bed (including bed linen), a desk, book shelf, a closet, and a chair.
The student village Schlachtensee is located in Southwest Berlin in the Zehlendorf district. The FUBiS-campus can be reached by bus and subway in about 45 minutes. The city center can be reached within 40 minutes. There is a laundry room with token-operated washing machines. The student village is located within immediate walking distance to grocery markets, a number of restaurants and bakeries, as well as doctor’s offices.
Students will stay in single rooms (approx. 10 sqm) with a shared bathroom and kitchen on each floor (up to 16 rooms per floor). Each room is furnished with a bed (including bed linen), a desk, book shelf, a closet, and chair.
Please note that in general there is no internet access available in the student dorms.
